Confined Space Medium Risk Course

The Confined Space Medium Risk course is designed for anyone working in a medium-risk environment such as indoor tunnels and covers.

A medium risk confined space is one where there is a realistic expectation of a specified risk.

COURSE INFORMATION

The course includes preparing to enter, exit and work safely in the confined space using tools and equipment, following procedures and dealing with any emergencies. The course requires candidates to work as a team and requires environmental monitoring, escape using breathing apparatus and access equipment.

The course is taught in a simulated confined space environment and covers safe entry, emergency procedures and escape using breathing apparatus.

• Use equipment and tools safely

ASSESSMENT

Assessments are multiple choice questions.

CERTIFICATION

Successful candidates will be awarded an EUSR or NOCN card.
